Real Madrid are set to sign Brazilian teenager Rodrigo Antonio Rodrigues, reports Marca.

The European champions have reached an agreement with the 17-year-old and his current club Gremio Novorizontino, who have given the playmaker permission to travel to the Spanish capital to undergo a medical and formalise his transfer.

The 17-year-old, who turns 18 in April, will not move to Madrid until next season.

When he does move to the Spanish capital, Rodrigo will link up his compatriots Augusto Galvan and Vinicius in the youth ranks of Real Madrid, representing the Castilla B team.

Los Blancos’ scouts spotted Rodrigo’s talent during an Under-17 Club World Cup tournament in the Spanish capital, where the youngster participated after reaching a month-long loan deal with Palmeiras.
